Four kids, one oven, and a whole lot of frosting.

North Shore Baking started the way most good things do — in a busy home kitchen, between school runs and bedtime stories. What began as birthday treats for my own four kids turned into something the whole neighborhood started asking for.

Every order is baked from scratch right here in Highland Township. No shortcuts, no factory mixes — just real butter, real vanilla, and recipes I've been perfecting for years. When you order, you're getting the same treats I'd serve at my own table.

For cupcakes, please give at least 48 hours notice. Custom cakes need about a week so there's time to plan flavors, design, and decoration. The sooner you reach out, the better — popular dates fill up.

All orders are pickup only, at our Highland Township location (3700 Harvey Lake Rd). I'll confirm a pickup time with you when your order is ready. Tap the address in the order section for directions.

You can pay securely online by card or PayPal right from the menu for set-price items, or settle up when we confirm your custom order. No deposit required — payment is in full. It's quick and simple either way.

Absolutely — custom is my specialty. Tell me your theme, colors, flavors, and serving size in the order form, and I'll put together a quote. Birthdays, weddings, showers, holidays, you name it.

I do my best! Gluten-free and reduced-sugar options are available for many treats. Everything is baked in a home kitchen that handles wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, and nuts, so I can't guarantee against cross-contact — but always tell me your needs and I'll help however I can.
